Q: What is a Master Class?
     A:  A master class is a conference that brings together speakers throughout the state to develop a new generation of public speakers and leaders through a friendly and supportive mentor-student environment. Learn more about it on our home page!

Q:  Why should I attend? 
     A: You should attend because you will be able to meet so many people at this masterclass, and connect with lots of great leaders. It’s a great opportunity for everybody to learn and improve their speaking and leadership skills. Read more about why you should attend on our registration page!

Q:  When is this conference?
     A: The conference will take place on September 5th, 2020, from 9:30 AM EST to 12:00 PM EST.

Q:  Who will be speaking at this conference? 
     A: This year’s masterclass will feature select youth speakers, as well as several professional speakers including Toastmasters International Past President George Yen, Toastmasters Championship Speaker Mario Lewis, and TEDxTeen Speaker Diana Chao. Q: Is Masterclass for youths only?

     A: No. Although Youth leadership is the theme for Masterclass 2020, it is an inclusive conference suitable for both youths and adults, parents and children, attendees and patrons.

Q: How much will this Masterclass 2020 cost?

     A: As a courtesy of the host organizers, Masterclass 2020 is a free conference to the public.

Q : Where can I sign up?
     A: You can sign up on our registration page! Click the button at the bottom of the page to be brought to Eventbrite, where you can officially sign up.

Q: How can I audition?
     A: To learn more about the audition roles, view our audition page. On that page, you will see the different roles you can audition for and at the very bottom, you will click on a button that will direct you to a Google Form where you can learn more about the auditions and officially sign up.
 
Q: When is the deadline for auditions?
     A: The deadline for speaker audition submissions is Friday, August 21st. The audition for table topics and evaluations will be live and held on Saturday, August 22nd.

Q: When will the audition results be released?
      A: The results for all auditions will be released on Monday, August 24th. 
​
Q: Are there any requirements for auditioning?
     A: The only requirements is that auditioners must be at least 12 years old and have a passion for public speaking!
